Narrative 4 Mexico: What We Built Together in 2025
Last year, the Narrative Mexico community demonstrated that compassion is a powerful force for social change. Our network grew, our scope widened and stories paved the way towards meaningful connections between thousands of people in Mexico and throughout Latin America.
Our mission is centered around a fundamental truth: every story, every voice, every action and every life matters.

Here’s a snapshot of what we built together in 2025, taken from the Narrative 4 Mexico Annual Report:
– 7,169 student participants
– 960 parents involved
– 684 teachers and communities
– 318 facilitators trained
These are more than simply numbers: they represent 7,169 young people that shared and received a story, 318 people with the power to change a classroom and a total of 8,813 individuals directly impacted. In our fourth year, we demonstrated that storytelling is a powerful force for social change.

The success of our programs is proof of an invaluable collective effort. This transformation is only possible thanks to the active collaboration of our students, who dare to be vulnerable; teachers, who integrate change in the classroom; parents, who support compassion at home; and the community, which expands our horizons. It is through the practice of our Story Exchange that we bring these voices together and build bridges of understanding.
Looking ahead, our strategy focuses on two pillars: maintaining and strengthening our close relationship with our current partners, and expanding our learning path to upper elementary, middle school and high school levels. This will ensure that connection is a fundamental tool at every stage of youth development.

When one young person dares to share their life story and another young person listens and tells it as their own, distance and fear simply disappear. That “magic” of compassion is the most profound impact of N4: feeling that we are not alone. With that conviction, we move forward to continue telling the story of a more connected Mexico.
