Communities in Schools of Chicago presented the award to Narrative 4 for its “outstanding engagement” with the organization’s Partnership Program. The program actively surrounds students with a supportive community, empowering them to stay in school and reach their goals. Last year, the initiative served 83,601 students across 250 Chicago public schools—reaching an impressive 40% of the school district.

Supporting Students’ Needs

CIS of Chicago’s Partnership Program connects students with community partners to address a range of student and family needs. Young people gain access to mental health supports, art and enrichment opportunities, health and wellness services and academic assistance.

Serving Public Schools

N4’s US Advising and Training Associate Christina Pearce accepted the award on behalf of Narrative 4. It’s an honor to support the educators and young people working to create more compassionate classrooms in Chicago and around the world.
