Narrative 4 Ireland’s “Girl’s Stories” Project
Girl’s Stories is a weekly after-school creative arts project for migrant adolescent girls who are new to the city. The project provides a safe space to make art, build relationships, share stories, and improve their spoken English. Working with art therapist Sheila Richardson, the participants of Girl’s Stories have created various works of art and have had two exhibitions to date. It is funded by the Department of Justice’s Communities Integration Fund and supported by Doras Luimní.
The Girl’s Stories 2019/2020 Project is open to new participants throughout the year. The program begins September 2019. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for details of joining.
