Our Work in the UK
Throughout the UK, the Story Exchange develops youth oracy and social-emotional skills proven to improve student well-being across schools, colleges, universities, and youth organisations. It helps reduce polarization, foster active citizenship, and bridge divides. Our work is supported by research conducted with the University of Birmingham, the University of Exeter, and, most recently, the University of Oxford. Explore the research to see the impact in action.

“What I loved about the Story Exchange was the ability to gain insight into someone’s life that might seem to be different from mine. Even though we came from completely different places, we found that we had many similarities and it was incredible to find how much we had in common, as well as our differences. I connected to someone across the globe through our shared love of ballet.
