Objectives:

● To use the Story Exchange to examine the tenets of their school’s founding creed to empower students to better understand and share it

● To develop a keen sense of how to knit the story exchange into the school’s already rich practices around teaching literature

● Support an open and robust classroom discussion culture to help students talk about hard things compassionately and truthfully

Programming:
Narrative 4 Story Exchange and Facilitator Training for Faculty, Curriculum Integration

Narrative 4 partnered with Marquette University High School in the summer of 2025 to lead a cohort of 10 chosen educators through a Story Exchange and Facilitator Training. The programming was designed to support educators in bringing N4 tools and resources into their classrooms in the fall of 2025, integrating Narrative 4 into the school’s already rich community centering discourse.

Impact:
Since their training, Marquette University Educators have led Story Exchanges in classrooms throughout the school, reaching over 250 student participants. Staff members have used the exchange in literature and social justice classes, supporting discussions around texts including The Odyssey.
