Stories Build Connection
A guided workshop where people share personal stories, listen with intention, and retell one another’s experiences—creating stronger relationships, deeper understanding, and momentum for positive change.
The biggest impact of Narrative 4 for me is learning empathy toward myself. Every time I do a Story Exchange, I’m reminded how much I love my students and why I do this work.

The worst thing you can do is put yourself in an echo chamber and a lack of diverse experiences is going to make you a more closed-minded person. I have used things I’ve learned in this classroom and in the Story Exchange to help me in my life outside of class.
