NY1 captured a virtual exchange between students at University Heights High School (UHHS) in the Bronx, NY and Floyd County High School (FCHS) in Langley, Kentucky. Their connection was facilitated by Shared_Studios‘s immersive portals, which made students, who were miles away, feel as though they were in the same room. UHHS student Julia Holness said,“Just getting the full body with the projector, you actually feel like you are sitting next to that person, you are engaging in the conversation.” Check out the video and the full story here.
