N4: What’s the most important thing we should know about you?
MC: I’m passionate about what I do and I firmly believe in the values that my family instilled in me: unity, respect, perseverance, and dedication.
N4: What excites you about Narrative 4?
MC: What excites me the most about Narrative 4 is the way it connects human beings. The way in which you can transform your vision towards other people. The strength of the story exchange is so great that a light emerges from the depths and I firmly believe that this light must be extended to all humanity.
N4: Tell us about a favorite N4 moment.
MC: My first story exchange, in Ireland, marked a before and an after in my life. The instant I shared my story with my partner, who was from Israel, and she shared her story with me, I realized that it doesn’t matter where you are from, what your religion, culture, age, or identity is. We are human and we connect through the stories that we create every day, because in the end that is what we are… a collection of stories.

—Maru Castañeda, Operations Manager, N4 Mexico
N4: What brings you inspiration?
MC: My children are the people who inspire me the most, they make me give my best. However, being in front of the sea and enjoying the sounds of the waves and the tranquility of the place, brings to me all the necessary elements for ideas to arrive.
N4: What are your plans for N4 Mexico?
MC: My goal is that every school in Mexico, whether it be private or public, can have the opportunity to have the Narrative 4 program incorporated. I know it is ambitious, but my father always told me: “When you dream… Dream big”. And I know that with the great team that supports me, I will be able to achieve this dream.
