Compassion Roleplaying
How does empathy and/or compassion support others in our community?
During this lesson students will work in small groups to create a short skit based on a scenario in which students are needing to show empathy and compassion to others. Students will then debrief each skit.
Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to practice giving and receiving empathy from classmates.

- Consider writing key terms on the board before class to introduce vocabulary and increase understanding:
- COMPASSION: Being aware when others are sick, sad, or hurt and wanting to help.
- EMPATHY: Understanding and caring about how someone else feels.
- CARING: Feeling and showing concern for others.
