Creating Community Agreements
How do shared community norms or agreements change how we care for each other in our communities?
During this lesson, students/participants will work together to design community agreements. Create a Class Goal
15 minutes
- Say: We are working together to build empathy as well as practicing ways to deeply listen to people. While we may not be doing a story exchange today, we are working toward building skills that will help us connect and listen to one another so that we can engage in a story exchange by the end of the semester.
- Discuss the importance of having a goal to work towards together as a team.
