Telling Stories From First Person Perspective
How can the point of view of a storyteller change the way a story is told?
During this lesson students will work in pairs to practice retelling someone else’s story from the first person perspective. Students will be given short stories. One partner will read a story aloud and the other partner will practice retelling that story in first person. This activity is a perfect opportunity for students to practice retelling someone else’s story from first person before doing so in a story exchange.
Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to listen deeply to a story so that they can retell that story from a first person perspective.
