For us, it’s not just the work we do; but the work we can do for others. This is especially true when our values align with other nonprofit organizations.Â
So, we were proud to join our friends at Open Doors NYC for their first-annual Nursing Home Lives Matter Gala — and honored to receive their Partner Award!
This gala event, held on November 29 at Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island, also featured a poetry performance by Narrative 4 intern and Youth Ambassador Babalwa Teteyana.
“[Open Door NYC] are ‘truth-telling artists bonded through a shared mission to spread a message of realness, resilience, and healing,’” said Lee Keylock, Narrative 4’s Director of Global Programs Lee Keylock. “It’s why N4 is honored to be their long-term partner. Our continued collaboration has inspired positive action and ensured that no voice goes unheard or no group of people unseen or undervalued. We are thrilled and humbled to receive this award to celebrate our continued collaboration and shared passion for arts and education. Here’s to a hope-filled 2024!” Â
